I've always shot carbons but always lookin to try "new" things. Looking at just getting a half dozen XX75's as seein how they shoot. Anyone still shoot aluminum arrows?

I shot them for 20 years before switching to carbons . I still have some XX75 2413's in a arrow box , but I see no reason to go back to using them .

With all the advances in carbon technology nowadays, there's no real benefit to shooting aluminums.

Aluminum is still a very good arrow choice. I still have several dozen of them. And as a matter of fact, I shot them indoor this past season and to tell you the truth they actually shoot better than carbon. You are not going to find any shaft more durable than carbon but I do think aluminum may be a slight more accurate.

I shot them for 20 years. This is the first year to shoot carbons.

I'm still shooting them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have had good results for many years. They may not fly as flat as carbons, but they are easier for me to tune and shoot much more quiet out of my bow.
