I know it will shoot themwith 51 grs of W-748 but I`m gonna try and slow them down a little,,,they will be used here and if we go in Texas.
still undecided on that,I`d kinda like for him to get to go,but there is so much baggage behind it,its hard for me.

I just looked in the far reaches of bulletdom....under my bed in miscellaneous ammo boxes and found some 308 loaded with 125 ballistic tips. The load I was using was 51.5 gr. of W748. Accuracy was good as best I recall but probably a bit more of a load than you're looking at for the boy.

there are loads that will shoot in just about any gun,and that is one of them.
Ethan can handle the 165 Sierra/RL15 load but at the distance and sized animals we will be after I am swaying towards the 125NBT or the 85gr 6mm load for more of a shock and bang/flops than the heavier bullets give.
