Looks pretty decent to me...but I would get use to holding my bow out in front when drawing back instead of pointing it upwards. Just trying to be helpful...

Looks like u r trying to grip the bow as you release the arrow, might torque the bow if that's what's happening.

Your basic angles look good, but the video quality really hampers being able to tell much more than that—it is nice to be able to see what rest of you arms and your hands and fingers are doing as well. See if you can get a little better quality and have the person taking the video do it from a standing position where the camera is even with your chest.

As previously mentioned, see if you can draw the bow back from a level or slight declined position without straining...keep in mind though, you're draw isn't that bad—I've seen aloooot worse. \:\) "Sky-drawing" is a sign your over-bowed and pulling too much weight, which can lead to a host of problems down the road.

^^^^ exactly what I told him . We are going to work on it sometime in the next week and I will video for him and try and help him. But he definitely has a solid foundation already

Your fingers look loose so that part of the grip looks fine from best I can tell. The only bad thing is the sky draw. Practice drawing back without raising the bow. Hope that helps you some.

A few minor things, other than the slight sky-draw which has already been mentioned. First, your snatching the trigger. If your release is adjustable, and most are, shorten it by half of what it is that way the trigger is deeper in your finger and off of your finger tip, and then practice squeezing the trigger instead of punching it—having it deeper will make it harder to punch the trigger. Having it further back also makes it easier to engage your upper back muscles and make it go off, similar to back tension. Secondly, get a wrist sling. You are slightly snatching the bow as soon as you release the arrow, which will or can cause some torque issues. Potentially down the road, combined with punching that trigger it could setup numerous other problems relating to anticipating the shot. With a wrist sling you can completely eliminate the need for your hand to grab the bow—that is what the sling is there for (do not put it tight on your wrist either). You can order a custom color in various designs from numerous places for $10-$15 dollars. Some guys don't use slings, but I recommend them to everyone I work with because snatching the bow, and the results of doing so is one of the biggest flaws I see—nothing like the fear of dropping $1000 piece of gear on the ground.

All in all everything looks good, just a few minor things—you're well on your way! \:\)

It appears you are punching the trigger, and grabbing your bow after your shot. Try a resistance release to help punching the trigger. I had the same problem. I use the Carter Evolution and love it.

I use a finger sling instead . I will let you try it and see if you like it whenever we get together and shoot .

It does say Lady's man (singular possessive) and not ladies' man (plural possessive). Geeez, I thought this was an archery forum and not 4th grade English. \:D \:D
