Some people who watched me shoot are telling me I should increase the draw length on my bow by a half inch or an inch. If I do that is it possible that my arrows won't be long enough to shoot? It seems like draw length and arrow length would be tied closely together and if you change one you would have to change the other.

It depends on how long your arrows are, if they are past your rest for a few inches you'll be fine.

Not necessarily. It depends on how your arrows are cut. I shoot 26" arrows on a 28" draw length. If your arrows and draw length are 28" for example. Going to 29" draw length you arrows will be fine at 28". Post up some pics when you get a chance.

I would be careful increasing your draw length . Most people shoot a draw length a half to a full inch to long to begin with . Even when they think they are perfect . Me included . I finally got my draw length right and man it makes a huge difference . The gain in speed going to a longer draw length for me isn't worth the accuracy and form issues it causes .

To get back to the original question . Depends most people say a few inches past your rest . Me .... I have mine with about 3/4 to 1/2 an inch or shaft past my rest and that is it . To each his own . And I say if it still fits on your rest try and shoot them.
