Fished a while before I caught any, trees in the water every where, but couldnt get a bite off the trees, for some reason???

Went back to my normal smallmouth patterns, and caught a couple. This one was pretty nice.

H20+green leaves and wood=flukes and no weight. Pitch it in tight and just let it fall through the branches. Usually huit it just as it goes out of sight. Hang up a lot, too. Only thing I ever saw better was spring lizards on a 1/16-ounce head.

Second choice is the single, large rocks that are usually out of water. 1/8-ounce crawfish color jig or GitZit. Hang up a lot, too.

Early in the morning, just about sunup, clear or b/w Tiny Torpedo is hard to beat.

Got reserves for next Wed.-Fri. Should still be way up.

There was no chance he was getting off. Looks like more rain coming this weekend so water should be high for a while.
