Seems to be no room for common sense in Big Government,
and a growing phobia of guns.

He went in and called his mom to come get the gun he forgot was in his truck.
They overheard his phone call and called the police.

The boy was trying to correct the issue when they jumped in and threw fire on the flames.

I hate Liberals. to me core, I HATE them.

They are going to ruin this honor student's life over a political issue. THAT is how they care for and prepare our children for the future.

HATE THEM!!!

(Florida) Teen Girl Expelled, Charged With a Felony After Science Experiment Goes Awry

Science experiments don't always go the way they are intended. This, a 16-year-old Florida teenager knows all too well.

This week, Kiera Wilmot went to school and mixed some household chemicals in a tiny 8-ounce water bottle. It looked like a simple chemistry project but then the top popped off when a small explosion occurred.

Wilmot, who is in good standing as a student, said it was an accident. The Bartow High School principal told a local television station that the teen made a “bad choice” and called her a a good kid who has never previously been in trouble.

“Honestly, I don't think she meant to ever hurt anyone,” Principal Ron Pritchard told a Tampa Bay television station. “She wanted to see what would happen [when the chemicals mixed] and was shocked by what it did. Her mother is shocked too.”

In another era, Wilmot may have gotten scolded and sent back to class. But in this age of zero-tolerance policies, Wilmot is in deep trouble. She was arrested on Monday morning after the incident and charged with possession and discharge of a weapon on school property and discharging a destructive device.

In turn, she was expelled and will finish her high school years in an expulsion program.

Anyone else noticed how politicians like Obama are rewarded for dishonesty and the "perception" of their intentions (despite poor outcomes and illegality), while good citizens are severely punished for honesty and the best of intentions?

Our politicians and government have become extremely self-serving by creating public phobias and division with anything seen as a potential threat to growing government control, as they hypocritically exempt themselves from the "controls" (rules) they demand the lowly citizen obey.

We really need our governments (federal, state, local) to be uniting us. Instead, for the self-serving purpose of growing politicians' prestige and power, they are growing government primarily by dividing people into various groups and labels, as well as creating self-serving phobias such as man-made fears of global warming, guns, etc.

Unbelieveable..... It's coming to a town near you, I can see that now. I'd bet one of us will be recounting a similar story before long with one of our children....with less than peaceful results I'm betting.

Speaking of scouts, the BSA is also going down the tubes.

New Requirement for Eagle Scouts: Merit Badge on Climate Change Junk Science

In the future all Eagle scout candidates will be required to earn a merit badge in climate change junk science.

Via Scouting Magazine:

The Sustainability merit badge debuted at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree at The Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia, USA.

Boy Scouts of America reported:

Although the badge is still in development, Scouts can expect to learn about pollution, resource management, green chemistry, and zero-waste practices. They will be challenged to live sustainably and, as in other badges, to explore careers related to sustainability.
Effective Jan. 1, 2014, the Sustainability merit badge will join the list of Eagle-required merit badges as an alternate to Environmental Science. Scouts who earn both badges can count the second as an elective.

And when they do, just watch how the NRA is vehemently demonized by the Obama administration and congressional democrats.

I'm sure your right, but the good thing, at least for now, is that the NRA yields some power and they really don't give a piss what the Obama administration thinks. I've seen the NRA step in with their legal team and destroy cases like this. Hopefully, it will get enough press to entice them to do so.
