that hurts, I haven't found any real big yellows this year. I'd look in that area more, maybe more on a north slope, there might be more in the area.

I went to catmans and my honey hole after he did today and found 36 good ones. Just enough for a couple of good side dishes. The wife loves em, so she was happy \:\)

Cut in half lengthwise, rinse well and soak in a bowl of saltwater overnight in the fridge. Will kill the thrips and other little critters that might reside in those hollow stems.

Pat dry, dip in egg, flour, and fry. That's the most traditional method, and it stands the test of time.
