According to my unscientific methods, I have deduced that a man of my height and weight will skid a good ten feet on tile floor upon leaping from the shower after discovering a brown recluse perched on the shampoo rack.

Would have been less than ten, but I was lathered up pretty good.

On an unrelated note, Ivory soap and spiders will explode upon contact with shower walls when thrown hard enough.

On a side note... I would have attempted the same.

I've been bitten before by one and won't do it again. My reaction wasn't as severe as some, but I'd rather take my chances on a slick tile floor than go through that again. It hurt like nothing I've felt before or since.
