Has anyone on here tried it to quit smoking? I took the first pill this morning and really want to quit, but I am nervous after reading and hearing horror stories of side effects.

The only side effects I noticed was very, very vivid dreams and mild constipation. Best of luck to you.

Any time the side affects are death, well, I tend to steer clear. My luck just ain't so good.

More power to you for quitting.

Mudbone, think of it like parachuting for fun. It's great when it works, but the downside leaves something to be desired.

My dad was on it and it helped him quit. But some of the dreams he told me about were something else!

The only way it will work is you have to want to quit, no matter what method you use. For get about side effects, they will go away.

I actually had to quit taking Chantix. It was affecting my breathing. Felt like a weight was on my chest. That made the second time I was on it. Some of have used it successfully, but 80% of people who use Chantix are back smoking within 12 months.

My wife and I both had prescriptions for it but after reading about the side effects we decided to go cold turkey. I ate LOTS of sunflower seeds for several weeks too!
