Those things are a terrible idea for women carrying....almost as bad as purse holsters.

Great idea for someone looking to make a killing on the latest carrying craze "mousetrap".

Are you saying that because of the lack of power of the 380 cartridge or somehing you don't like about the holster?

To me the holster looks like a good idea because it is on the woman's body and as such can't be taken away like a purse can. The only doubt I have concerns how concealable it would be with a woman who is not so well endowed. \:\) The women in the video had obviously spent a lot of time in the gym developing their ummmm pectorals...yeah that's it.

Regarding the 380, I used to dismiss it as totally useless myself. I used to say the same about the 357 Magnum. But my thinking has changed over the years so that I focus more on the total situation rather than just effectiveness of the cartridge. The simple fact is that once trouble starts we would all prefer a full blown 30 caliber auto rifle with a drum magazine. However you can't carry that around everywhere you go so you have to compromise with something small enough to conceal. A carry gun has to also be light/small enough that it doesn't become a burden and get left behind. That's the whole reason behind the 380's existence - it can be chambered in guns that you honestly don't mind carrying every day even in hot weather when you won't have any layers to hide the profile of a larger gun. Considering that women are smaller than men and tend to wear tighter clothes, these guns are even more valuable to them. When it all comes down to it, if you don't have it with you, it's not worth much.

Personally, I've just started looking at carry guns as I never felt the need to carry before and I've tried to push the limits on combining small with powerful. I got a Kahr PM40 and am happy with how it feels, certainly happy with the 40S&W for it's power but not so happy with how the gun feeds at this point.

I don't see a problem with it, any gun is better than no gun when you need it.
