Shooter for me with a bow, heck I'd pop him with a gun as well.

Had this on my cam this week.. what do you think? I think you need to get some more pics of him. Honestly, just based on that one pic, I can't tell how old he is, plus even with good pics, hard to assess age in the summer months. All I can say is he's 2 1/2 years old or older.
not pope n young yet let him walk Rube,
Nothing wrong with waiting for a Poper, but I believe around half the bucks born in Tennessee would not make P & Y's minimum net score even if they live to be 6 1/2 years old (at which point they can be virtually unkillable). Until fairly recently, I didn't want to kill a buck that didn't make P & Y either --- but I was going buckless more years than killing a buck, even though I was passing up some 3 1/2 year old bucks each season.
For me personally, and to each his own standards, any 4 1/2-yr-old buck is a greater hunting challenge than any 3 1/2-yr-buck, even if that 3 1/2 scores over 140.
What if we find out the buck in the above pic is 4 1/2? He may never make Pope & Young.
