I'm confused. I think more people should recycle. Stop using daily items that wont be gone (biodegradable) by the time your body is gone. Styrofoam containers, certain plastics, etc.

Recycling, promoting a cleaner Earth, and wanting to stop people from overly polluting the environment doesn't classify as a religion to me. It's being a good steward.

Exactly. Some of the greenies aren't too shy to admit thy want to see the world's population cut dramatically. I remember reading something about ten years ago where one group wanted to get the U.S. population down to 150 million and cap it at that. They said that was a sustainable level.

So you are saying that if some people take an idea to an extreme, we should be against the idea? So if someone kills someone in the name of christianity, we should be against christianity? We should be anti-christian because someone blew up an abortion clinic or shot an abortion doctor because they felt it was their christian duty?

I would consider you someone concerned about the environment, which most outdoorspeople I know are, including myself. An "Environmentalist" is a nut job who believes Man is a virus infecting the Earth. Today's Environmentalism is just a new version of Misanthropism--the hatred of Mankind.

Environmantalism has become a very dangerous false religion.

Honestly, it is a bastardization of the old pagan (primarily Druidic) religions. It is taking the "terminology" of these pagan religions and spinning them into a whole new religion, most of which is just made up to fit a particular political viewpoint. Basically, "beliefs" just made up out of thin air to match a Leftist agenda. Sort of like how "Kwanzaa" is a made up holiday based on a political agenda.

I believe we need constraints on polution but for people to believe we are killing the planet please. One eruptions of a Volcano does more damage to the atmosphere then all of the cars and the factories. But seemingly the earth heals itself. At who's hand LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR GODS HANDS. MAN WILL DESTROY MAN. THE EARTH WILL HEAL.
