Sounds like self induced torture. I couldn't do it.

I hope you accomplish all your goals Eric... and then maintain. Stick to your plan.

Not expensive at all in my opinion. My diet throughout the week is chicken and fish. I will have steamed veggies with either of the 2 meats. A lot of times, I will have a chicken breast mixed in with a salad. The same for some fish like salmon. I always marinate my chicken in balsamic vinaigrette. It is the worlds best marinade for chicken and is one of the better ones for you! That is always my salad dressing of choice as well. When I get canned veggies, it is unsalted. I get my chicken at Costco. I get an 16 pack of breasts for 18 dollars! And soon, you can get all of your veggies out of your garden, or a veggie farm / stand.

For mini meals, I get a big thing of mixed nuts that are unsalted. Also a pb&j with whole wheat bread. Also an apple. Even munching on some raisin bran.

Good luck!

Typically we roast the chicken whole and use it for a few days. Bread is bought locally. Next time you purchase bread, read the ingredients. If it's more than 4 or 5, put it back.

The weather is warming...the fishing rod can save you lots of money. On a great fishing trip you can catch $100+ worth of fish. Package the meat in smaller serving sizes and they will last you longer (instead of just doing one big fish fry and eating everything you have at once).

I've never killed a turkey or even seen a gobbler while turkey hunting, so I've just about given that up. More power to you if you can add those to your grocery list.
