They are definetly fun to shoot ,I have a marlin 917vsf .
Academy sports had the cheapest price I found on 17hmr but they only carry CCI tnt rds for $7.49

Heck, ammo is about to go up around 15% in August and another 15% next January... the Chinese are going to price us out of being able to shoot anything other than the smallbores if they keep importing lead and driving the prices up.
