Does anyone have a fix for a 1911 that has the threads stripped out on the frame where the bushing threads into? My SA Compact grip screws kept loosening while shooting it and I guess I over torqued it and stripped out the frame.

Check this link out. It may be what you need. If you have the tap just buy the oversized bushings instead of the kit.

You can go with a Heli-coil insert or a Keensert.

Just know that if you strip the oversized bushing, you are done. They don't make a second oversize.
