Depends. I have been taught NOT to simply believe and support any old position without lots of research.

That includes examining the source of information for credibility, the manner in which the information was collected, if it has been "massaged" to support a particular claim, and finally what is the motivation of the information source.

Fact is, most people read some articles and think they are well informed to have an opinion on a subject when they are just parroting what someone else told them to think.
If you can't trust people with freedom, how can you trust them with power ?

What criteria was measured in the survey?

Those parts are conveniently omitted because if healthcare systems around the world were evaluated objectively we'd be head and shoulders above every other nation on earth. If the "criteria" were scrutinized, the rankings would be shown to be the garbage they are.

But that wouldn't fit into the anti-U.S. agenda UN and their components possess.

Simple. If folks don't like what they have here catch a plane out and go get your care out of country or take I 75 NORTH

Healthcare is scewd based on the overall health of the group of individuals as well. We can't get healthier as a population IF the majority are obese, smoke, don't exercise, etc, etc. too many McDonalds and cigarettes put a strain on our healthcare system. Diabetes is rampant, obesity related joint replacement have sky rocketed, and diseases like esophageal cancers are up 600%, all directly based on obesity and smoking. Change lifestyles and you can change overalll healthcare outcomes and quality.

It amazes me how the herd has been taught NOT to think critically but believe we are well informed.

The glut of information and websites make it easy to collect "information" but hard to filter out the facts.
