I agree. You got it right. It's the story of how they got him. Not a shoot it up picture.

Think about this. We looked for him for more than 10 YEARS, in the end the total of action was less than 30 minutes.

I also concur. The full stories of most victories seldom consist of "shoot it ups" alone. It can be argued that the trigger pullers are the most essential element, but without guidance and direction, their usefulness is severely limited.

The last 30 minutes are worth sitting thru the first two. My favorite line of the movie......."I'm the mf'er that found him"

Just finished watching it. Very good.

If the accounts are accurate, we need to be doing more water-boarding.

Watched it last night. Movie differed quite a bit from the book written by Chuck Pfarrar who is a former member of Seal Team 6. Movie was good but I am leaning towards the book as far as how the operation actually went down. Biggest difference is the movie has the operators entering on the ground level and working their way up to OBL and in the book they actually landed one helo on the roof of the complex and OBL was one of the first ones killed. Also the movie made it out like the operation was a lot less complicated than the book. There were other factors at play that complicated the mission such as the Stealth Hawk helicopters having to refuel to get back to base. Last interesting fact was that the book said that the plan was to use the top secret Ghost Hawk choppers but at last minute they decided to use the Stealth Hawk. The Ghost Hawk is the next generation of the Stealth Hawk. Im sure a lot was left out of the movie for the sake of time and either way the end result is the same but I thought it interesting the difference between the two. I would encourage anyone to read the book and watch the movie.
