This is Trackers step son CJ. He killed this nice Jake yesterday morning and its his first turkey. Killed it at a whopping 5 yards with his .410. I cant remember for sure how long the beard was so maybe Tracker can chime in and tell the rest of the story. But heres a pic and big congrats to you CJ!!

We snuck up to about 100 yds. of them (2 jakes) and called. They headed right for us, with the pile of limbs that was in front of us we had to wait for them to get in our lap to shoot!!! He had a 3.5 inch beard and it was all CJ could do to carry the bird. It was one of the highlights of my life!!! Thank the Lord!!! Also if you think a .410 wont do it, you are mistaken. I would let him shoot out to 22yds. and that is about as far as I am comfortable with. 3 Inch high brass 6 shot out of a full choke. I almost forgot a special thank you to my wife for video caming it all.
