My mother in law has went through double knee replacement, double hip replacement, both her hands are pretty much metal, both her feet are pretty much metal, and half is jaw is metal now.
Possibly having her ankles done also soon.
She relied on everybody else on her knees and hips for weeks and can still barely get around.
The doctor told her if she would've done what he said it wouldn't have been as bad.
Her friend has had both hips and knees and you couldn't ever tell she had anything done. She stays active and with 4 replacements she gets around really good!
It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.

I had my first knee replacement in 2005. Had to have a partial replacement on the same knee in 2011. Just had left shoulder replacement in December 2012. I've had the shots and fluid drawn from my joints and I must say the knee surgery rehab was very painful but worth it in the long run.

After saying all this, I would gladly take the shots over the surgery.

Hope it went well for you Ruger
.I'm a little bummed out my xrays today could not find a problem.Relieved that it appears I have no major hip problems.Makes me a little nervous that he's not sure what it is and if it can be fixed. MRI in the next week or 2.
Very experienced surgeon that has not seen someone with my pain and symptoms. Feels like I'm sitting on a nail .He narrowed it down to a small area where 3 hamstring muscles attach to the pelvic area.It was real fun getting my Butt and balls froze then having a 6 inch needle stuck in my cheek. It hit the spot and has given me some relief.
