Left shoulder has been acting strange for about 4 weeks and I do not remember injuring it (this time). Anything with left arm that is not straight in front of me brings excruciating pain to muscle in upper arm. Heat, like a hot shower right on the shoulder, makes pain disappear almost immediately. Shoulder has been injured at least three times but nothing in past 4 years. Yeah, when I hunch my left shoulder you can hear/feel clicks and pops. Any ideas? Got a good Doc that takes BCBS?

Tendinitis? Sounds like what happened to me a few years back.

I have almost the same problem with mine. A buddy who is a chiro, told me to come in and they have some of deal that they scrape or roll over your shoulder that breaks the cartilage up, and it should help...but I haven't done it yet.

I had frozen shoulder they say it is real common most can just do exercise some do the chiro I did both and had to go get it cleaned out now it is great. Do not wait too long to have it cleaned out I did and the meds never could get rid of the pain. I wasted a complete spring and summer on it. I have a cooler that pumps cold water to a special sling that goes on the arm if you make it to nashville/murfreesboro you can have.

I am working through tendonitis in my right shoulder right now with the help of my chiropractor. Mainly I am doing to strengthening exercises and easing back into lifting. SO far, it is helping tremendously.
