I am trying to watch it, but can't figure out why they keep twisting scripture, instead of portraying events just as the Bible says they did.

Also, I knew that they wouldn't show the real reason Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

I hate that many people who do not have much knowledge of the Bible will believe that what they are watching is "gospel" !

Those in charge of the production wanted to a show a cool, modern almost politically correct version of the Bible to reach out to nonbelievers. I prefer to watch a historical production to be as close to accurate as possible.

I don't want to see the Hebrews depicted as multiracial clan. I don't want to see a Scottish Noah, an Oriental samauri angel, or an African Samson. I just want to watch as true a depiction as possible. That's why I appreciated Gibson's version of the Passion of the Christ.

Sorry, trying to modify history for political correctness is a pet peeve of mine.

I have watched all 3 so far and they have skipped alot of important parts in the bible to make it all fit in on time or to try and make everybody happy,if they are going to do it,it needs to be just like the bible says and no candy coating it.

Gibson's 'The Passion' had an American playing Jesus man... lol

No.

However, there is this thing called 'Google' - that can assist you in your research as to the relevance.

And his look was modeled after the "classic" view of Jesus looking like a tall Italian guy, rather than an Arab.
