Hate to hear that. He was a fine individual. I can remember talking to him in 1993. I explained that our wildlife society was wanting to get a Knight muzzleloader for our advisor, and that we were wanting to give it to him at the conclave we were hosting at UTK. we asked what kind of deal we could get and explained that our advisor had done tremendous things for wildlife in Tennessee. He sent us a brand new rifle with our advisors name engraved in the barrel, free of charge!

Found it. I found the first Knight Tony gave me. It was before they were put on sale and has no engraving of any kind on the barrel. No serial number, no model, nothing. It was a prototype I guess.

With his permission, I wrote a story entitled, "The Camp of the Dimly Lit." It was about his old hous ein MO where he was born. He used it as a hunting camp and if you were not carefull, you could fall through the floor. The piece won a prize for outdoor humor and I can find no copy of it.

I do not know. I was contacted by his nephew Jeff yesterday but have not talked to anyone else. Jeff said he would get back to me with details as soon as they are set.

I know many in the outdoor industrty have posted various things on facebook and there may be more info there.

Tony had been teeribly ill for some time so, in a way, it was a blessing. I am sure he is in a much better place now that at the Camp of the Dimly Lit.
