Yep, this is going to be a good one to follow to the finish. I suspect there is an ulterior poliitcal motive. Given time, we are going to hear about the "ease" of buying a "assault rifle". If this had not been reported, I wonder if the weapon would have been transfered to someone else, legally, and that point brought up to energize accross the board back ground checks.

You can pull up photo's of Gabby Gifford herself shooting AR-15s and AK-47s, before she was shot.

I saw some of them myself in the news over the last few weeks....
They are both hypocrits....

Some say he's getting himself into a purgery situation. That would make his claim of easy pretty tough to swallow facing jail time. Since he's up to being an example he needs to be made one.

Democrats do not go to prison or get charged with crimes. Anything they do illegal is the fault of the NRA or other conservative "Hate groups".
if anything, he'll be appointed to a special committee for breaking this law.
