What is everyones go to lure? I know if I just want to catch something I throw on a fat albert grub and reel in whatevers on the other end...

I plan to hit the river up more this year, any lure that is a must have?

For bass, if it is one of those days where nothing will work. One of my shaky head worms will put one in the boat. Shallow or deep.

any kind of soft plastic,worms or grubs,1 of them will pu a fish,maybe not what you are after but a tug on the rod beats a another empty cast imo

On days they wont bite I go to two specific colors with my worms and throw one of them on a shaky as well.

My backup is a jig.

I've been doing more trout fishing lately. If you want a change of pace from bass fishing and you have a river with trout around you, I've been using a trout magnet and a piece of corn and have been catching a bunch every trip! As far as bass lures, I'm a huge fan of a white rooster tails, especially in rivers. Good luck!!
