fooled me on score as well. very nice pics but they didn't do the buck any justice. a lot of times I find that pics make them look bigger than they actually are. great buck no matter what though!

I see 146 all day with him. i guessed way low, but was right on age \:D

Its amazing how they can be deceiving. A buck my uncle got in his shop from Ky we both guessed low 150's. Put the tape on him and got 167". Another one i brought home from Jackson this weekend to take to my uncle that a friend of mine killed back in Nov i guessed him around 135", and ended up with 123"..

I'd say 118" and not an inch more.

It is true, you do get 4 crc. measurements on an 8 or larger. However, after scoring several hundred heads, I cannot get anything like that on that head. That is not to say it does not measure that. I have been fooled before and that buck does not have what I consider real mass.

That said, it is not my buck so what difference does it make \:\)

Is the three different spread measurements all used towards the final score? Just curious, never saw three different spread measurements taken. Anybody know why there is three spread measurements?

Inside spread is all that counts. Tip-to-tip and outside spread are just observational measurements.
