I recently purchased a Citadel 1911 in 38 Super. I am pleased with the pistol. It is very tight and accurate as is.
What would be the simplest way to move it from accurate to very accurate?
What other changes would improve this gun from good to great?
I have a Colt series 70 in 45 acp that I've owned since I was 13 years old and it is excellent as is. The Citadel is something I would not mind customizing a bit since it has no collector value.

Match grade barrel, but you're going to either buy a few hundred dollars worth of 1911 tools or pay a smith to fit it. I'd obviously recommend the latter.

Hell, this thing is accurate enough! I've decided to save some cheese and keep it as is.
