Dad and I put in at Jefferson ramp on Priest today. We vertical jigged structure and crappie beds in 3-4' of water with no luck. We then swapped to long line trolling and had 8 different jig head and body combinations in the water. These ranged from light to dark color bodies in curly tails, stinger shads and high action baits. We caught one 8" and one keeper sized, all in 4-6' of water. Dad caught 3 bluegill on a black / chartreuse crappie magnet. Speed according to GPS was anywhere from .8-1.1mph.
Any advice on what we could have done better?

I would think you need to be fishing deeper water. Assuming the water is still in the upper 40s, low 50s, that's awfully shallow to be fishin.
