I stopped buying CITGO gas years ago as soon as I realized Chavez was involved with the company. The most popular and convenient gas station for me was and is a CITGO but darned if I'll give my $'s to a guy who vows the destruction of my country.

From the article: The flag may only be lowered for the death of foreign dignitaries if indicated in Presidential instructions.

While that guidance should apply to everyone, in reality the only thing it affects is the colors on federal installations. Private citizens and even states often lower the flag for any number of things.
It isn't right then, and it certanily isn't right NOW honoring that scumbag, but it is what it is.
