This brings to mind a story,....I had killed a doe one year and my BIL and his 2 daughters were up from knoxville.
As I began the process of skinning and quartering the Doe,the 2 little girls came up and began asking questions.....of course I answered them as well as I could.
Then suddenly the father my Bil came out in a rush,
Don't Let them see that ...you will traumatize them,they will have nightmares.
I did not know what to say ,at first .I think the children had more sense then their Daddy.

He is a well-spoken moron!
If I could respond to him I might point a few things out-
"would you be willing to cut an animal's throat?" - yes, but would prefer a shot to the head, heart or lungs.
"we have no nutritional need for meat, eggs or milk" - you better offer some good evidence for that because I think it is proven otherwise. And we have thousands of years of human history to back it up too.
"vegetarianism makes a statement against oppression at every meal" - forget how many animals were killed in the process of farming the vegetables you love so much?
He refers to animals as "he," "she," "who," etc... he really does think they are people doesn't he?
Basically this guy is a total softy who needs to wake up to reality... IMO
Says the comment section is under maintenance, or I might post something there.
