It was a very nice meeting,what I took home was dont kill itif you want to see it grow up,minerals arent necessary but they make us feel good and dont feed.I also learned that the deer in Tennessee really have great potential,the biggest problem is we dont let them REACH that potential.

Dr. Harper gave a great presentation last night and he shared some really eye opening statistics. I really enjoyed it.

I also learned that the deer in Tennessee really have great potential,the biggest problem is we dont let them REACH that potential.
I guess it all depends on what you consider "great" potential. In my area, I get to see quite a few bucks that have reached 90+% of their potential, but that isn't what most "trophy" hunters would consider great (or even acceptable).

I too had a great time at the meeting last night! I think Dr. Harper could talk about paint drying and make it entertaining!
The facts he presented were very eye opening.
