Motor guide trolling motor?

Looking at maybe buying a 5-7 year old motor guide 45 lb. thrust trolling motor for 100.00. Does this seem like a good deal for a foot controlled motor? Going on a 14 ft. Fiberglass boat. Thanks. Guy tournament fishes and just upgraded.

What did it cost new? I have nothing to base my opinion on but $100.00 just seems high.

If he fished alot of tournaments, then it might be about worn out! You would ne better off buying a new one imo. Check cabelas bargain cave.
