Yes - it is a great read! Also, Phil has written a book that will be out soon - and Miss Kay has her cookbook coming out.

I've read it. It is okay...just goes to show that they are ordinary people that caught a few breaks over the years. I was rather surprised that Phil wasn't a great father figure in the boy's lives...he was actually a drunk and distant from the family. From the sound of it, the kids pretty much raised themselves because Kay was working to put clothes and food on their backs while Phil stayed away and drunk. Ironically...that's exactly how my grandpa use to be before he got saved and got in church. Even more ironic...papaw died 5 yrs ago and never even knew who the duck people were...but his trademark was the thumbs up and when someone would ask him how he was doing he would say "saved saved saved" whereas Phil says "happy happy happy".

Yes, its a good book. Its very easy to read and good message. Explains everything from phil's bad stuff all the way to why they made the switch from Mossy Oak/Browning to Realtree/benelli. I've kept up with'em for the last 15 years so I knew a lot about them before, but it details everything about Duck Commander.
