He will definitely be the focus of my season next year.
Hope you have much better luck with him than I had with the main "focus" of my 2012 season!

I had been watching an above average antlered buck for a couple years, and believed him to be 3 1/2 in the Fall of 2011. Found his sheds, both of them, last Spring, and gross scored them at 134 as a "clean" 8-pt typical. This one was very similar to what you have a pic of, but with shorter brows. Not only did I never see him in 2012, but never even got a pic. No idea what happened to him, other than he survived the 2011 deer season, and I found his fresh sheds about a year ago.
Just never know. Sometimes they'll do a range-shift thing one year, then come back after not being seen for a couple years. Part of why this is called "hunting".
At least this one you're "tracking" has such unique brows to make him highly identifiable, even as an 8-pt typical.
