They are super easy to install. I heat water in a cup in the microwave for a minute. Hold the old nock in the hot water for 5-10 seconds. Twist out old nock with a pair of pliers. For carbon shafts, use emory cloth to lightly sand the exposed shaft edge, and form a cone and lightly do the interior edge. Clean out dust and any water with paper towel. Test the Lume-nok by using a wire, paperclip, etc to touch the two small metal tabs on the Lume-nok to make sure the battery is good. Align Lume-nok and pressing down on paper, slowly push it into position until the Lume-nok edge is just about 16th of an inch from the carbon shaft. That's it! Aftr shooting, just pull/wiggle the Lume-nok back and forth until it is back to 16th inch out.

I also use Lumenocks on my bolts. Like being able to see where it hits on a deer when hunting late in the evening. Became interested when watching Uncle Ted use them on TV.

I use Firenocks and haven't noticed any accuracy problems. I use their weighted practice nocks on my target bolts and they seem to fly exactly like the ones using the actual Firenocks.
