Just wondering if you can turkey hunt on cherokee?

If so is it a draw hunt or just open?

I know this might sound like a dumb question but its the first year I decided to try gobblers. Dont want to get into any trouble.

Aslo, doe anyone know if Prentice Cooper was draw or is it open?

One more question.

I just bought my sportsmens license for the year. If I'm wanting to turkey hunt on Cherokee, do I need any other permits?

Also a noob question but do you have to check in your turkey the same as deer?

Your annual Sportsman's License is all that you need.

Yes, a turkey is a big game animal in TN and is required to be checked out before the end of the calendar day by one of three methods:

1) Checking station
2) online on a computer
3) TWRA mobile app
