bow and arrows including crossbows, compound bows, long bows, ect for the taking of ethical shots?
Pin sights on some bows can be hard to see.

No no no no that would defeat the purpose of bow and arrow hunting. Of course a scope is best for a crossbow but should not be required for any kind of bow. If the pin is hard to see, don't shoot. I've learned the hard way a good vs bad bow shot. The answer is not a scope, it's more practice and knowing when and when not to take a shot at a deer.

no should not be required but should be allowed. if your eye sight is bad enough you can get a magnifying glass for it. but I do not think at all it should be required. and some people hate the magnifying glass. if you have trouble with the pins then its probably time to go to the cross bow. but I do think that magnifying glasses are illegal as of now hunting at least. the best way to slow down injured deer during bow season is to honestly know your limits and not take stupid shots hoping for a little luck. and some of that knowledge comes from trail and error. your never going to stop injured deer or bad shots from anything bow, muzzleloader, or rifle its going to happen sometimes. that's deer hunting.

The answer is not a scope, it's more practice and knowing when and when not to take a shot at a deer. You'll "see" things differently when you got older, I hope a lot older.  At some point in age, most people's vision changes such that they lose their ability to clearly see objects up close (why they need reading glasses). Glasses can correct this for up close, but then while wearing reading glasses, everything farther away is blurry. An optical scope corrects all this problem by putting everything seen into a single focal plane (all is clear).
