If you killed a 215" deer in TN. Public or private land, no matter:

I could not physically keep my mouth shut about it but I would be VERY selective about telling any details... I might say what county, or region it was killed in, but nothing other than pics and the story of the hunt. If it were public land, I would be tempted to say so, but people here know which WMA I hunt the most and that would give it away. I would keep quiet except for pics and a general story of the hunt and that's it. I know the pics would likely float around the internet and the buck would be killed in 15 different states before the year's end, but that's just how it goes...

Don't think I could keep my mouth shut either. what's the point of killing a beast that big if you can not brag a little.

I would enter it into the books. what's the point of shooting a once in a lifetime buck if no one knows you did it. now that being said, my wife would make me make all the money I could off it.

I agree, even if I wanted to keep quiet I couldn't. I'd have to tell everyone and despite what the wife says that mount would go in the livingroom so everyone saw it. I might even put it over the TV so I could look at it from my recliner.

I voted to post pics on the internet... via Tndeer. I like looking at pics of good bucks and reading the story behind the kill. I like sharing my hunting story with like minded individuals. I don't care about shouting from the mountain top and I could care less about entering a buck into the books. Only a chosen few would know exactly where I killed the buck. As far as money gained from the kill, I like money. I wouldn't be opposed to making a few bucks off the story of the hunt or the pics of the deer but not if it jeopardized what I deem as the integrity of hunting.

It would be tough to keep quiet about it, but I would never tell anybody where I killed it at. I would like to enter it in the books too. But I aint the bragging type, and I would definately not brag and show off. I have know people that are irritating showing off their deer, acting like they are the best at hunting etc. It takes hard work and skill to kill a deer like that but it also takes alot, probably more luck than anything.

I don't care the least bit about record books, though I wouldn't have a problem posting a pic on here and on FB. I wouldn't be so interested in any media attention nor would I say exactly where the deer was killed or what county.

I would shout it from the mountain tops, but wouldn't tell everyone where I killed it.

I'd let bw right an article and let him post the pic in his local paper. Don't care for the record book. My friends know where I hunt, so it wouldn't take long for the whereabouts to come around.
I'd probably let catman boil it down for me.
