I weigh 159 this morning. I have lost almost 11 pounds in six weeks. Some people would be happy with that. Unfortunately, I am trying to gain weight.
I am almost 69 and a few weeks ago, my appetite just left. I have to force myself to eat. My target weight of 172 looks to be a long way off. I have almost no taste and my favorute foods are no longer faves.
I am on probiotics and vitamins but there is no substitute for real food. Funny thing is, when I go to White Oak, I eat like a horse. Maybe I need to move.

A coworker of mine had a very similar issue. She lost a ton of weight at first, didn't hurt, sorry. She had this issue for almost 6 months, and finally went to a ENT specialist and there is a very long name for it. Eggs, eggs, and more eggs is what you might ought to think about eating. She said that and fruit were about the only things she could taste. Eat lots of fruit. Best of luck with this, and if I can figure out the name I'll let you know.

Bowriter, if I went to my family doc with your concerns, one thing he would tell me to do is find a source for dairy products that are not pasteurized. He says (and I agree) our govt has royally screwed up with their idea of safe and healthy foods.
