How in the bleep do you release a PISSED OF BOBCAT??? Lol
It's not that hard. Catch pole over the head, pin him down, release trap, remove catch pole. They will take off every time.
It's more anxious to release big stray dogs, including pitbulls. So far, they have always took off. If one comes at me I will be prepared to defend myself.

I caught the neighbors big ole black dog in a snare one morning.. got the snare off.. he took of running for home.. went about 100 yards and hit another snare.. LOL.. had to release him again..
