Made my first rip to Guntersville yesterday. We caught about 25,5 that were 3 to 4 lbs.Had a good time, but had that crazy dream about catching a Gville giant.Maybe next time.
Did great up till about noon, and the weather totally changed,at least where we were, detached floating grass was blown off the bank I guess.Made it very hard to get in a good cast.Made it to the truck right before the hard rain started.
Maybe next time.

There was a 13 lber and a couple more over 10 caught there in a BFL tournament a few wks ago. It took 31 or 32 lbs to win. Sounds like you had a good time. I haven't been there in years but really producing some big bags right now.

I was at Goose Pond this weekend. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Scottsboro and saw several boats from TN while we were there. I was in a red, white, and blue Norris Craft. You all have to eat at Beunavista mexican restaurant!
We didn't catch many, but we had 2 around 6lbs. They had 2 tourneys out of there Saturday which took 34 and 35 pounds to win. That place is ridiculous.
The catch of the weekend was made by my buddy. He hauled in a 7'10" Duckett rod attached to a Citica reel. It couldn't have been in the water for more than a couple of days.
