I will bring money for food or something if necessary. Is there going to be some kind of update this week about time to show up and itinerary?

Yes, I figure Thursday we'll try to get down to the nitty gritty on an update. Okay?

Folks, I'm posting part of a reply to a pm I had below. It may answer a few questions that some of you may have.
You don't need 4 or 5 shot.
6 or 7 1/2 will be fine.
Although the Pheasants are bigger birds, they tend to get up off the ground slowly. However, if you let them get plained out...they can move on.
Something orange...maybe a hat...will be fine. The hunt itself is very structured and safety is always in play. Once the dogs point, the handler will move in. There will be a shooter on each side of the handler, and there will be a backup shooter flanked to the side of each shooter. Also, another shooter will be responsible for the backdoor.
Probably WON'T need a bird vest unless you need it to carry your shells. Reason being, once we get a certain number of birds down in our group, the handler will periodically put them in a pile and radio for a pickup by one of the hired hands who will come out on an ATV and pick the birds up. He will then take them back to the lodge for the cleaning crew to process them.

We always used #6 shot for Pheasants, throw in some quail and 7 1/2 will do the job for both.
I wouldn't feel dressed if I went bird hunting without my bird coat!

I am looking at the weather and we may change the menu a little if it is cold may ad a soup and chili which is always great if you have hot dogs and fries chili dogs or chili cheese fries. It would be nice if I could get a rough count on thursday. Also BigSatt need to know if I need to bring a couple of tables to set up on and make sure that power is there and the bbq grill is available. Also is it gas or do I need coal? I lost your number so if you want to give me a call again if you want. Also any food allergies let me know as I do a lot of mixing of things
