Once you readjust the seating die per the intructions and tighten the jam nut, I'd verify that you have it set right by running an empty case in the seating die with no bullet. This will take the possibility of the bullet hanging on the case mouth out of the equation and lets you prove the die is adjusted correctly.

When I 1st read your post, I thought you were talking about grease dents on the shoulder from too much sizing lube. Steep shoulder angles tend to make that worse too.
