Wow from the people on this site that have constantly said write call your congressmen, senators and so fourth. To say it doesnt matter its posturing. What a shame. You bad mouth people that stated the same things during the obama care before it came into law. They said what good does it do. Now your going to come out in say it at the state level.
So when in turn you must believe the Fed gov runs the state then. Wow
The Judge that said the Feds laws over ride state laws is dead wrong.
Oh the people need to stand up more then just by writing to these people. But we truely know were that will go based on responses.
Thanks Mup for writting

By the time average hunter gets their thumbs out, it will be far too late.
Go ahead, sit on your hands while the few do the heavy lifting.
Samuel Adams knew you even back then: "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Sorry to say that I did not see this until it was to late. I will say that I do not believe that there is much that the few of us can do but Stalkhunter I do agree that those that do nothing have no room to complain. I do think that there is any way that the feds will allow the state to govern its' self but that does not stop it from rising against. While I was in Iraq there was something that my dad said to me every time that we were able to talk and that was "rise above". Maybe, just maybe, we do have a few politicians that will rise above all of the bs and do what they are called to do. All we can do is hope and call and email everyone that we can instead of sitting on our hands like the punished child that our potus thinks we are.

Well the Attorney General Said the Bill is unconstitution based on Supreme Court Supremecy law. So it wont go forward. Attoreny Genearl is wrong. State can nullify all fed laws. http://www.tn.gov/attorneygeneral/op/2013/op13-14.pdf
Interpitation is wrong the Supremecy clause is wrong and the Gun ban violates 2nd ammendment and Constitution. State bill supports the 2 ammnedment and the Constitution.

Came up to a 4-4 tie in committee today, Sen.s Lowe Finney, Brian Kelsey, Doug Overby and John Stevens voted against he bill, Sen.s Campfield, Green, Gardenhire and the venerable Mike Bell voted in favor of.
Administration's boy came to the table (at Lowe Finney's request of all things, a Democrat using the Republicans against us) and defended his boss's stance of being Obama's favorite Republican Governor by throwing in his $.02 worth that it was a "BAD" bill.
