Back in October 2010 I went on a plains game safari in South Africa. At the time I was living in Germany and when it came time for my trophy's to ship my company lost their contract. So I had them shipped to the states which added another 10 months for the SA government to change my address on the export paperwork. Today I pick them up from Foster at Wildlife Taxidermy & Huntin'. When I called Foster in Aug/Sep 2012 to let him know my hides finally made it to the states he remembered me calling him back in May 2011 making sure he would take my work on. He made short time of getting the work done which I greatly appreciate. Needless to say I'm happy with the work they did. Here are the pics of my long awaited trophy's.
One note: I am 99% sure this is not my Kudu. When I killed him he measured 42 inches, this one comes up short by a few inches. They don't dry out that much. In either case I am happy to have them home FINALLY!
The pics are from my phone so they are a bit grainy in this lighting.

Congradts on a good hunt. It must have been killing you to wait so long. Do you have another picture of your Kudo mount ?? It looks different to me also but hard to tell from the angle.Would the switch have to be from the shipping company ??

Thanks, It was a great experience and I'll always have some great memories of stalking and tracking each animal. To be honest I don't think it was the shipping company. They receive a create and just pass it along to the freighter. It had to be switched at the outfitter. There are a couple steps in their process where I can see it happening. I don't think it was on purpose, but non-the-less it ain't mine and 28 months later I'm not going to get mine. This one is 5 inches short and the rack is not as wide. Nothing can be done about it. None the less it is in my so called man cave and it is mine now.

Very nice! Those things aren't hanging on many TN walls. And I agree that does not look like the same one at all.

That's a dream come true! Glad you got to do the hunt, and bring home the rewards.
