Burris Speed Bead & Fast Fire 2 are same sight, just mount differently.
If the gun will be used only for turkeys, I prefer a small foot-print scope with a 20mm objective. Using magnification of 4x or less, there is zero need for an objective larger than 20mm, as it is only a liability. My main turkey gun has a Nikon Monarch 1.5-4.5x 20mm objective scope on it. This particular model is no longer manufactured, but I like it much better than some of the current models being "marketed" as "turkey" scopes.
I do not like the larger "red dot" scopes, but love the Burris Fast Fires, which for the money, don't think you can beat them. They're tough and great quality.
Here's a scope very similar to the discontinued Nikon Monarch: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/O...%3Bcat104535180
Note the small "footprint" of the 20mm objective on this Leupold 1-4 x 20mm scope.

I have a speedbead and like it. I was forced into a red dot sight, and tried the eotech but it was awful. I wish I could shoot beads on the new gun, but the pistol grip stock caused major issues for me

I have both and i like the Eotech on my M4 very well but it's too big for my turkey gun. The gun weighs enough as it is

That was my opinion of it as well, and my peripheral vision suffered with the eotech as well. I also hated the magnification.

Weird. My Eotech is lighter than the scope i had on my gun and has 0 magnification. Its just like lookimg through the air and there is a red dot. LOL
