anyone ever heard of a muzzloader made by savage called 10ml-BP. NOT 10ML OR 10ML2. BUT 10ML-BP. FROM READING ON THE INTERNET, I FOUND OUT IT WAS A SHORT RUN MADE BY CABELAS. SO I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY OF THEM WERE MADE OR THE VALUE OF ONE. IT IS CAMO STAINLESS AND HAS THE ACCUTRIGGER. FROM WHAT I READ THE DIFFERENCE IN THIS AND THE OTHER 10ML'S IS THE BARREL LENGTH, CAMO STOCK PATTERN, BREACH PLUG, AND THE RAMROD HOLER. I WAS WANTING TO SELL BUT DONT KNOW THE PRICE OF ONE. OR IF IT IS A RARE GUN.

They were very expensive from Cabelas, but you're not supposed to shoot smokeless in them. The BP is for black powder. I would there weren't that many made.

I GOOGLED AND FOUND THAT THE BP was for liability reasons through cabelas. they said you could still shoot smokeless through them. the guy i bought it from said he did. i wonder if there were less of these made then the 10ml and 10ml2 series. i was guessing that this was probably the last run of the muzzloaders. but do not know! i cant find hardly anything on the gun!

Consider calling the manufacturer, they usually will supply a free owners manual.

It's been researched. Savage only made one quality barrel and it's approved for smokeless. Cabelas didn't want any liability so the labeled it BP. The nice thing about the Cabelas version is it is 1 inch longer barrel. Other than that, identical to the Savage 10ML-II in quality and build.

As far as rare my guess would be no. Being stainless it is demand since Savage now only produces short runs of blued MLs. You can try to sell here or on Doug's or Modern Muzzleloader and Gunbroker. I've seen stainless guns go for anywhere from $500 to a grand for a unused one.

so here is the skinney on the cabelas run

true, they are the same gun as the MLII BUT you will likely not get the same money for one for two reasons
1. it is marked BP ONLY
2. it has the smooth barrel nut and long screw spacing....
nothing at all wrong with the gun, just the facts....
