If it makes you feel better I won't laugh at you for that, I saw one gobbling this past fall from my treestand. Granted it wasn't the best gobble I ever heard, but it was a gobble.

I haven't seen a fight but I did see a jake run off a longbeard. the LB was coming right at me when the jake come running in and chased him out of sight (200 yds) then the jake came back to my decoys and I don't shoot jakes but I was mad enough to make an exception that day.
