I'm trying to design a men's retreat for our guys, and one of the key features of the weekend is going to be a really good, thick, juicy steak.
It just occurred to me how way cool it would be to have a branding iron created just for ManCamp, just a simple MC in a circle or something like that, that we could use every time we got together for another steak-eating event.
What do you think the best way to go about that would be? I do know we have a welding shop in town... is that where I start?

Not sure, but I know you can order custom grates for your grill with your brand in them. It brands the steak as you cook it. You don't have to heat up a separate iron.

The local Hastings book store here in Mcminnville had one for sale last weekend. Not sure how well it works, just remember seeing it on the shelf on clearance.

I've seen the custom branding irons for steaks but I can't remember where they are sold. I know I saw them on the internet somewhere. If I can think of it I'll post a link.

Does anyone near you make the metal art sillouettes? That would be a good place to start. If not there is a guy here in whiteville that does it I could hook you up with him.
