Perhaps we can start a list of links of free ones that you can use for hunters, campers, hikers of predators, birds,etc that members may be interested in getting. Also GPS apps. I have seen some on here and just thought we might form a category of such. This may not fly, but then again who knows.

Strelok, mossy oak, shooter (not free), prankdial, evil operator, wunderground,get altitude, Nikon spot on, and most importantly Google maps.

It's not what is sounds like...
Gaia GPS for iPhone, not free but dang useful.
Great navigation app with the feature of all USGS topo maps. Downloadable maps so that if you hunt where there is no phone or data service you can have the maps loaded on your phone. Multilayer navi if you have phone coverage including sat maps (more than one database), road maps, etc. Has the usual GPS functions like tracking, location marking, etc.
Works great on the iPad too for planning trips, hunting locations, etc
