Saw this today coming back from checking cameras and replacing batteries.

Not albino, just white. Had some gray streaks in some wing feathers and a yellow beak.

Very close to what I spotted over at Henry Horton earlier this month! Weird that in my whole life I've never seen one, and now this month, 2.

there are silver phase turkeys in and around HH. You may have seen the pics or video I posted of them a year or so ago.

Hrmm, this is making weird sense.

Back when I started going to the Henry Horton Rendezvous, my hair was quite a bit darker. The more 'Vous I've attended, the more silver seems to be appearing.

They need to test their water!

You might be on to something. I guess because it's a state park, the turkeys have gotten very old????

Must admit, I was skeptical when opening this thread, but that certianly looks like a robin to me. Never seen one like that before.

I've seen a couple of white/grey phase turkeys, but I've seen a lot more robins than turkeys. Thanks for sharing this. I had no idea they existed.

yep it was definitely a robin, it was chirping along with all the other robins. I didn't know they existed either. Thought it was albino till I got up close.

The one at HH a couple weeks ago was probably more of a gray phase. I was in the car while my buddy was taking some pictures of the sports fields, and the bird immediately caught my eye from 70 yards away. It was in the middle of a bunch of other robins, but sure stuck out. Too far to get a good pic with my phone, and my buddy couldn't hear what I was yelling to him over the wind.
